John Cena is coming to ‘Fortnite’ Superstar

Epic Games has announced that WWE superstar and actor John Cena will be joining the Fortnite battle royale this week.

As part of the Epic SummerSlam, the 16-time Champion will be available in the Item Shop on July 28 at 8 PM ET and July 29 at 1 AM GMT as the John Cena Outfit.

The Entrance Gear and Ring Gear styles will also be included with the character skin. The Item Shop will also receive additional optional content, such as the John Cena Set: the WWE Championship Title Back Bling, which includes the outfit, the open-hand Five Digit Slapper Pickaxe, and the 'U Can't C Me Emote.

The Epic SummerSlam is a massive WWE collaboration that spans multiple games, including Fortnite, Fall Guys, and Rocket League.

While John Cena will be joining the free-to-play battle royale, Fall Guys will feature the Undertaker, Xavier Woods, and Asuka. On July 28, the character skins will be available in the Fall Guys Summerslam Set costume bundle in the Item Shop.

Purchasers of the bundle will also receive an additional Xavier Woods emote and Undertaker Victory Celebration.

On the same day, Rocket League players will be able to purchase new Roman Reigns and John Cena vehicle Decals from the game's in-game store.

Neil Druckmann, Naughty Dog's co-president and co-director on the original title, started yesterday (July 25) that there are no plans for The Last Of Us' Joel and Ellie to join Fortnite.

This comes after a series of rumours claiming that a planned collaboration between Naughty Dog and Epic Games would include character skins to commemorate the release of the upcoming remake: The Last Of Us Part 1. "I love Fortnite... but there are no plans for this." "False rumor," Druckmann declared.

In other news, Diablo Immortal players are losing millions of XP as a result of a battle pass bug.

Who Is John Cena?

He's a 16-time World Champion, New York Times best-selling author, and Make-A-Wish granter with a track record. Since his first appearance in a WWE ring nearly two decades ago, he's released a hit album, starred in blockbuster movies, and carried the WWE torch. If you can't see John Cena at this point, you're probably not looking.

Was there ever any doubt about Cena becoming the living legend he is today? When a muscular Massachusetts kid threw down with Kurt Angle for the chance to become a true WWE Superstar, you knew you were looking at the future "Face That Runs the Place."

A little ruthless aggression did, indeed, go a long way. Cena went supernova as the fire-spitting Doctor of Thuganomics after earning the respect of his peers by stepping to The Olympic Hero, eventually reaching the pinnacle by upending JBL for his first WWE Championship at WrestleMania 21.

Cena, far from being a one-hit wonder, set up shop on the mountaintop and refused to leave, issuing an open challenge to anyone who thought they could knock him off: "You want some, come get some." Slowly but steadily, Cena, preaching an ethos of "Hustle, Loyalty, Respect," gathered not only a battalion of followers dubbed the "Cenation," but also enough hardware to fill a Home Depot.
